SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

Today, society is undergoing change in many areas of our lives, and at Can Buch we have been able to read and interpret this change in mentality, especially in everything related to sustainability and human interaction with the planet.

Can Buch was born out of the need to make the tourism sector compatible with the environment in which we live, creating a series of strategies aimed at generating sustainable tourism.

We must say that it is a great satisfaction for us to belong to the CETS. The EUROPARC organization promotes the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Natural Areas, which aims to protect and develop the tourism sector, but always from the perspective of protecting natural areas in Europe.

In this regard, we are pleased to have obtained the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism certification awarded by the EUROPARC federation for the work carried out by Can Buch, creating harmony between the natural environment and tourism promotion.

To summarize, some of the measures taken are:

- Energy generation from 36 photovoltaic panels.

- Rainwater is collected through a natural purification circuit.

- Hot water is heated using wood cut in the forest in accordance with a forestry plan for the use of natural resources.

- Black and gray water is treated in a purification plant that uses natural methods for cleaning.

- In terms of food, we use a series of practices to create the most sustainable production possible.

- Natural swimming pool whose water is cleaned using natural methods with plants and beneficial microorganisms.

In short, we have tried to convey the philosophy we have at Can Buch by implementing a series of measures to meet the needs of our customers while showing the utmost respect for our natural environment.
