La Cabana (Apartment with kitchen and living room)

Quadruple or Quintuple

The "Cabana" is the name that people from La Garrotxa traditionally used to refer to the small constructions built next to farmhouses, where straw and livestock were stored.

It is a very symbolic space, deeply rooted in the territory, always oriented to the south to receive as much sunlight as possible.

It is a private apartment located next to the main farmhouse, and it has two floors. The first floor includes the kitchen, living room and dining room: a large table, a sofa, a television, and a fully equipped space for cooking. On this same floor there is a bathroom and a utility area with a washing machine and fridge.
The dining room has a fireplace and air conditioning.

The second floor is divided into four spaces. Two of them are spacious bedrooms with access to a private south-facing balcony. Separated by a modern solid-wood partition, there is a very large private bathroom equipped with a bathtub, a shower, ecological and vegan cosmetic products by the brand Naturals, a hairdryer, and 100% cotton towels. The bathroom window overlooks the imposing cliffs of La Garrotxa.
Next to the bathroom there is a large wardrobe–changing area for storing everything you need.

The apartment is located a few meters from the hotel and is accessible via a ceramic walkway suitable for wheelchairs. The entire cabin faces south, receiving sunlight all day long. It has a balcony with views of the garden, the Rocacorba mountains and the swimming pool.

The walls are made of clay and earth; the ceiling is made of solid Montseny wood; the floors are Montseny solid-wood parquet; and the paint is natural lime.

Noble materials such as clay, solid wood and ceramics provide peace and tranquillity, while soft colours such as whites, browns and creams bring warmth. Finally, the technology of the window frames, insulation and heating provide 21st-century comfort.

The rooms

Twelve rooms and one apartment designed for comfort, relaxation, and connection with the natural environment.
The “Auró Blanc” (field maple) is the first tree you see on your way out the door. It has a beautiful foliage that produces a pleasant shade in summer.
The “Els Bens” (the sheep) room is located where Can Buch's family once kept their cattle.
The “Avellaner” (hazel), a tree that is widely cultivated in the fields of our region, gives its name to this room.
We have named this room “La Ginesta” (the Spanish broom) because when you walk out of the door you see a field full of these plants.
The “Blauet” (kingfisher) room owes its name to the presence near the country house of many of these birds.
The “Mallerenga” (great tit) is named after one of the most common birds in our garden and area.
This room is called “L’Alzina” (the holm oak) because there is a beautiful window on the north side overlooking our holm oak forest.
The "Castanyer" (chestnut) is named after one of the most present trees in our territory.
