La Ginesta (Junior Suite)

Double or triple

We have named this room “La Ginesta” because when you walk out of the door you see a field full of Spanish-broom, which is dressed in yellow during the month of June.

It is a shrub very rooted in our territory with a long history in our culture. A plant associated with luck and protection.

The room has a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains of Rocacorba, with a reed pergola adorned with a beautiful grapevine. From the terrace, equipped with two chairs and a small table of wood and canvas, you can enjoy nature without seeing any lights or buildings.

Inside, we find a first space with a sofa bed, two armchairs for reading and a small desk. Separated by a thick cotton curtain we find a second space with two closets, an extra-large double bed complete with 100 % cotton sheets and finally a private bathroom equipped with organic and vegan cosmetics by Naturals, a hair dryer and 100 % cotton towels.

The room is located on the ground floor of the countryhouse with access to the pool and garden. Oriented to the east, the first pleasant rays of morning sun through the glass door.

The walls are made of earth and stone; the ceiling, with Catalan vaults of ceramic; the floors, of "La Bisbal" tiles; and the paints, of natural lime.

The noble materials such as clay, solid wood, ceramic or stone give it peace and tranquillity, while colours such as white, brown and cream give it warmth. Finally, the technology of fixtures, insulation and heating allow you to enjoy the comfort of the 21st century.

The rooms

Twelve rooms designed for comfort, rest and connection to the natural world.
The “Auró Blanc” (field maple) is the first tree you see on your way out the door. It has a beautiful foliage that produces a pleasant shade in summer.
The “Els Bens” (the sheep) room is located where Can Buch's family once kept their cattle.
The “Avellaner” (hazel), a tree that is widely cultivated in the fields of our region, gives its name to this room.
We have named this room “La Ginesta” (the Spanish broom) because when you walk out of the door you see a field full of these plants.
The “Blauet” (kingfisher) room owes its name to the presence near the country house of many of these birds.
The “Mallerenga” (great tit) is named after one of the most common birds in our garden and area.
This room is called “L’Alzina” (the holm oak) because there is a beautiful window on the north side overlooking our holm oak forest.
The "Castanyer" (chestnut) is named after one of the most present trees in our territory.
