L'Avellaner (Family Suite)
Quadruple, quintuple or sextuple
The “Avellaner” (hazel), a tree that is widely cultivated in the fields of the Barroca and in particular the Selva, Gironès and Garrotxa, gives its name to this room.
Very typical of our area, it is a tree of land and culture that provides us with nutritious fruits when autumn arrives.
The room has a lovely private access from the upper entrance of the cottage. It is located on the first floor of the farmhouse and can be accessed via the main staircase or from the dining room on the same floor.
Inside we find a first antechamber with two armchairs for reading.
Next, we find a first room with a sofa bed, a large wardrobe, an extra-large double bed complete with 100% cotton sheets and a large french window giving access to a private terrace.
This terrace, equipped with chairs and a large table, boasts spectacular views of the Rocacorba mountains. At night you can't see any lights or buildings and the stars in the sky take the stage.
The room has a second bedroom with two large individual beds with 100% cotton sheets, two armchairs for reading, a wardrobe and a desk.
Both rooms share a private bathroom with Naturals cosmetics, a hairdryer and 100% cotton towels.
The room is located on the first floor of the farmhouse with access to the dining room. Facing north-west, it receives the pleasant afternoon sun and has a magnificent view of the Garrotxa woods.
The walls are made of clay, wood and earth, the ceiling with Catalan ceramic vaults, t the floors of "La Bisbal" tiles and the paints of natural lime.
Noble materials such as clay, solid wood, ceramics or stone give it peace and tranquillity, while colours such as white, brown and cream give it warmth. Finally, the technology of fixtures, insulation and heating provide 21st century comfort.
