L'Avellaner (Family Suite)

Quadruple, quintuple or sextuple

The “Avellaner” (hazel), a tree that is widely cultivated in the fields of our region, gives its name to this room.

Very typical of our area, it is a tree of land and culture that provides us with nutritious fruits when autumn arrives.

The room has a lovely private access from the upper entrance of the country house. It is located on the first floor and can be accessed via the main staircase or from the dining room on the same floor.

Inside we find a first antechamber with two armchairs for reading.
Next, we find a first room with a sofa bed, a large wardrobe, an extra-large double bed complete with 100 % cotton sheets and a large French window giving access to a private terrace.

This terrace, equipped with chairs and a large table, boasts spectacular views of the Rocacorba mountains. At night you can't see any lights or buildings and the stars in the sky take the stage.

The room has a second bedroom with two large individual beds with 100 % cotton sheets, two armchairs for reading, a wardrobe and a desk.
Both rooms share a private bathroom with organic and vegan cosmetic by Naturals, a hairdryer and 100 % cotton towels.

The room is located on the first floor of the countryside house with access to the dining room. Facing north-west, it receives the pleasant afternoon sun and has a magnificent view of the Garrotxa woods.

The walls are made of clay and wood; the ceiling, with Catalan ceramic vaults; the floors, of "La Bisbal" tiles; and the paints, of natural lime.

The noble materials such as clay, solid wood or ceramic give it peace and tranquillity, while colours such as white, brown and cream give it warmth. Finally, the technology of fixtures, insulation and heating allow you to enjoy the comfort of the 21st century.

The rooms

Twelve rooms designed for comfort, rest and connection to the natural world.
The “Auró Blanc” (field maple) is the first tree you see on your way out the door. It has a beautiful foliage that produces a pleasant shade in summer.
The “Els Bens” (the sheep) room is located where Can Buch's family once kept their cattle.
The “Avellaner” (hazel), a tree that is widely cultivated in the fields of our region, gives its name to this room.
We have named this room “La Ginesta” (the Spanish broom) because when you walk out of the door you see a field full of these plants.
The “Blauet” (kingfisher) room owes its name to the presence near the country house of many of these birds.
The “Mallerenga” (great tit) is named after one of the most common birds in our garden and area.
This room is called “L’Alzina” (the holm oak) because there is a beautiful window on the north side overlooking our holm oak forest.
The "Castanyer" (chestnut) is named after one of the most present trees in our territory.
